After earthquake rattled Jakarta on Tuesday (1/23), North Jakarta Government General Division plans to audit mayor main office building construction. This audit is run to ensure it is safe for activities.

We need to ensure its condition and facilities are safe for activities

North Jakarta Government General and Protocol Division Head, Dedi Sumardi said, his side will cooperate with expert consultant to assess its feasibility and safety since this building age is more than 20 years old.

"We need to ensure its condition and facilities are safe for activities. We will cooperate with consultant in auditing building construction," he informed, Thursday (1/2).

He explained, the result will be considered for repair or not. If its recommended to have heavy renovation, then we will repair it gradually.

"If it needs small renovation, we can follow it u p immediately. But if it needs heavy renovation, it will be done gradually," he mentioned.
